Pre-planned End of Life Ceremonies

This is an option available for you to preplan your own End of Life ceremony. Together we will preplan the areas of an End of Life service that is of importance to you. It is that personal touch, by you, for you. Many find comfort in preplanning their ceremony. People have a desire to be truly heard, to lean into their heart & soul, and to be understood for who they are; not what they did. To be able to connect with someone in that way, giving my undivided attention to the story that makes each person unique is a gift I can bring to you. I am able to advise you on all aspects of the ceremony including music and readings that nourish the soul and ground the spirit.  This can be a difficult conversation to have, yet can be very comforting to know that conversations had now, means your wishes are known and able to be respected when your passing occurs. I will make a presentation folder that you can leave for your loved ones, to ensure the day is exactly as you planned it. On the day, should you wish, I can be of service to your family to officiate the End of Life Ceremony for you; ensure the agreed eulogy is delivered; introduce speakers and manage other aspects of the ceremony, as you require.

Online guidance, consultation and composition services are available for Pre-Planned Ceremonies.

The hallmark of Celebrant led End of Life Ceremonies is storytelling.

The hallmark of Celebrant led End of Life Ceremonies is storytelling.

Our End of Life Ceremonies are our emotional legacy.  They really matter; helping the people who survive us to begin to work out how to live their lives without us. Pre-planning your ceremony is immensely helpful in that it not only helps make decisions outside of the emotional moments following a death, but it also brings to the forefront a conversation that all families should have about death & dying. If you are considering creating your own End of Life ceremony ahead of time, it takes courage to do so, and you will find it’s very rewarding once it’s done.
